| We are so surrounded here by the false perception that we deserve more and are worthy of what we have. It is a curse in so many ways to be so blinded by materialism and the desire to be comforted, 'successful', experienced etc. It is almost like being slapped in the face and the Lord saying - I am no longer hovering over my nation, but I am sending them out to the ends of the earth.... I have delivered them from the desert and now before they enter the promised land I am sending them to harvest, to seek throughout the barren places in the desert for the wandering heart - for the heart that is thirsting for everlasting water and the soul that is searching for words that will never die... Oh Father on this Valentine's day let us see the reality of what love truly is - it surpassess the power of the passionate emotion that we all crave and fills those places that are cold and hardened. The Breaking of the outer man so that in the fullness of truth His spirit can spill forth to the cracked lands that he allows us to wander so that we can be fully alive. Be ALIVE and LOVE beyond the taste of emotion to the reality of truth beyond our comforts - It is not our goal to run from the people that pull us down with their negativity but our call is to go forth and overcome evil with good- To act instead of reacting. God Bless you all, In the love of Christ, | | |
| Today is a day of TRUST. A day for restoration - for beginning anew even though there are old memories Life is the moment we find ourselves living in, but appreciating every breath is a struggle. Teach me Lord more about seeking your face About how to bask and wait and accept the depth, height, breadth and extent of you overwhelming love. | | |
| I was walking to teach yoga this morning and the fan of starck branches against the morning sky was breathtaking... I find the more I spend time in the great outdoors and see more of the beauty in creation the more God reveals himself to my heart. How blessed we are to live, to breath, to see, to experience life from more than just one stagnant point in time or existence. I find sometimes wishing that time would stand still, but by the very act of remaining still it would take away the freedom of our lives to choose from moment to moment... something I have been contemplating. I have to go to work in a Molecular Biology lab, but thought I would drop a note and say hi to anyone that still frequents the xanga world. God Bless you all and i pray to see you all sometime again. Idios | | |
| Wow, this is the week of posting for people that haven't in awhile - Meredith and her beautiful family, Mobley with her words of truth, Ali in her diligence and ambitous life, Mac in his time of rest and restoration. God is truly the giver of our lives.
Jen's post impressed deeply how much we desperatly need people that love and care. It is hard to stay in touch, but I believe that God works through relationships - even if only through thought if time has kept us apart.
Hope all is fabulous, I am busy with school but doing well. One and 1/2 years left!!!!!!! :)
